How to get to lake Annecy Lac d'Annecy is located in the Rhone Alps, France, close to the border with Italy and Swisserland. Geneva, Chamonix (Mont Blanc), Chambery and Albertville (Winter Olympics) are all within a hour drive from lac d'Annecy. The region is served by five airports, major road and rail networks.
By Air The region is well served with established and low cost airlines. Lac D'Annecy is approximately 45 min. drive from Geneva and Chambery airports, 1 hour drive from Lyon airport and an 1 hour 30 min. from St Etienne and Grenoble airports. Geneva and Lyon offer the best choice of airlines, where Lyon tends to have the lower cost scheduled flight options, Geneva has got Easyjet.
